Default Snare supports

Any one try the Dustin Drew snare support system for snaring ?Found on YouTube, but don't know how to link it. Looks like a simple setup but may be hard to hide the extra cable that so many of us use now with extensions

when we were discussing this I was under the impression the anchors would be sacrificial.......but that cable tail extension must make it so you could retrieve them??

i'd sure like to have someone show me the pounder up close so I can visualize how you actually pound them in.

Why wouldn't you just anchor them directly to the cable stake instead of using the washer thing, that's what the cable end is meant for not retrieving it they were meant to be disposable.

My guess is because he doesn't want to dispose of the entire setup. I would be afraid of coyotes pulling out stake if attached to cable .
