Well brothers it time to buy a new one. Who has the best archery shop near Stettler?? Which bow would you recommend under $1000?? When is the best time to shop bows before next hunting season??

Thanks Anthony

Do you mean next season as in 2016, or 2017? With the way our dollar is right now, it's tough to find a high end bow for much less than $1000.00, but I think there are some out there. Not sure about shops near stettler. If you can get up to Edmonton, Jimbows and Accurate Archery are both top notch shops, though jimbows actually has shooting lanes, so they have a bit of an edge. There are a few other shops around the Edmonton area that are decent as well. If you are waiting till the 2017 season, you might be better off to wait till the new bows for 2017 come out, and then see what they have to offer. If a brand new 2017 isn't your fancy, then maybe you can pick up a 2016 bow for a bit of a discount. Happy hunting!!

I Havent shot a lot of bows, but I just bought A Hoyt Powermax (updated version of the Charger) in January. Whole Package from bow to arrows and everything else you need paid maybe $1300. I upgraded the Stabilizer but I love this Bow. It's worth checking out if you don't want to spend more$$$

Is your $1000.00 budget for a complete set up, or just bare bow? If you need accessories, arrows or whatever. There are some pretty good deals on at wholesale sports until the 7th of August. Half price on a lot of things. Look on the website though, if you do go in, because some of the stuff is not marked in store as being on sale. I think they also have some full set ups in there. Mostly diamond, Bowtech and Bear. And a few PSE. I'm not really a fan of those brands for myself, but on my next set of days off, I'll probably be picking up a Bowtech fuel for my daughter. Unfortunately they're not on sale. I'm going to be going to jimbows for that. If you shop around, you will find something you love, within your budget.
