Default WMU 410 Early Season Hunting?

I'm thinking about doing a early season sheep hunt(September) next year in wmu 410. Just wondering if there has been much success in the early season? Any help would be great thanks.

Not to high jack the thread but do many guys even give this a try? Seems like an almost impossible hunt but would be a blast!!

It's no harder to hunt sheep in early season! But it is much harder to find them as they are very dispersed. Later in the season they seem to all come closer to the ewes for breeding

One of the problems is that 410 is largely a wintering area. I don't believe the outfitters even hunt in the early-season.

Thanks. I really wanna try and get a ram with my bow so I was thinking 410 but just wasn't sure if any guys even tried it in this zone. I understand it's gonna be tough either way I go about this.

410 is definitely harder to hunt in early season , as you will be competing with all the hikers and flower sniffers . I would look at trying another zone where the sheep don't get disturbed as much .. not saying it can't be done but 410 is heavily used by hikers and day users. Just my .02 cents
