Where would I find he legalities on selling ammunition. I was just told it was illegal to sell?

Yes it is illegal to sell......you should give me all your ammo for free


on serious note....you can sell ammo even here at this site in buy and sell section. There are legal issues however if you want to MAIL the ammo.

Someone here may give you better advice....

That's the first I've ever heard of that. It would be in the firearm regulations I know lots of people who have sold ammunition or components surplus to their needs for loaded ammo just have to make sure buyer has PAL.

Factory loaded ammunition can be sold with no legal issues, as long as the buyer is authorized(PAL) to acquire it. Shipping must be done properly as ammmunition is a dangerous goods, so that leaves Canada Post, and most bus lines out.

Reloaded ammunition on the other hand is prohibited from re sale through Natural Resources Canada and their explosive regulations. That is unless the reloads are first vetted by the above agency(long and costly)
