Default Which fletching glue is best??

Hi everyone. I'm sure this has been kicked around before, but I thought I'd ask. What glue do you use to fletch your arrows? Is there any out there that you wouldn't use? Thanks for any input.

Used Loctite Super Glue UltraGel on Hexx Carbon Arrows - with no wrap.

Best is to get superglue activator. It's a spray you place on the arrow before setting the fletching. Instant bond, no moving, no pulling away. Can get it at any hobby or model store. Works with all superglue.

^^^This. Tried Fletch-tite platinum once. Slow bonding and didn't stick worth a darn.

I use wraps on all my shafts. When I used vanes I had good results with any of the super glues, after switching to feathers I only use Fletch Tite Platinum , and wraps. It bonds fast on a wrap, and doesn't make the feather base brittle like super glues do.

My jig holds a dozen arrows and by the time I get to #12 #1 is solid and doesn't budge. Without a wrap it takes much longer for it to cure.

Flying feathers I use Fletch tire platinum for carbons with wraps, and E6000 for wood arrows.

Default fletching glue

do a little web search. Different vane material, wraps and shafting material require different glues.

I'm also enjoying good results with the Gorilla glue. Both carbon and aluminum.

I still use Fletch Tite on everything. Don't have nearly as many lost vanes as I did with the "super glues".

Cleaning before fetching is the big trick.
