Huglu shotguns
Anybody have any feedback on the huglu shotguns , looking at possibly a 20 gauge pump action for a youth hunter, Never heard of the brand much , but seen one online and it looks nice

Zero experience with their pump actions, but the SxS, and O/U shotguns are of good quality for the price.

Prophet River posted today on Canadian Gun Nutz a note that there was a fire at the Huglu factory very recently. Extent of damage unknown, but there was speculation this could affect supply of these firearms.

That is correct, as well as DeHann and several others .....

CZ Canvasback is Huglu
I had a CZ Canvasback 12 ga O/U, which is made by Huglu. Worked very well, looked nice.
Traded it off however for a vintage Ross .22.

You can read years of reviews of them on Shotgunworld forum, they have their own section there. I have a CZ Ringneck, for the price I paid for it, nice gun, no issues with it at all. Can't speak to their pumps and autoloaders.

I’ve owned a pile of them , bought and sold to friends etc , every one either a SxS or a O/U.
Love them

I'm sort of rejoicing that a shotgun I saw the other day had the wrong style stock on it, would have been an expensive weekend. Did handle nice though.

We've sold a few thousand of them last three years. Great luck. One warranty issue to date! There was a fire at the factory. Its unclear how it will affect our orders in the near term.
