Default Hornady 6mm 85gr Interbonds powder thoughts

I am currently trying to reload some Hornady 85gr interbonds for my .243, i was just wondering what powders would work good for this type of bullet. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'm away from my beloved manuals and load data right now, but I'll bet you that Varget is right in there.....the power must be out in Ft. Mac, Cat hasn't chimed in yet.

I've had good luck with imr 4831 in a couple different .243's I had, using heavier bullets. (80 to100 gr bullets)

I would try and envision if you would ever try a heavier or lighter bullet and pick a powder that covers you in the direction you might go as well. Varget would work well at that weight and down, while another would work better at that weight and up. I really like Varget at 75gr.

Hy-brid 100 excellent powder in both the 243 win and 6mm rem , best with heavier pills but I have loaded the 6mm and the 85 gr partition in the past. It has good ES , meters well and produces excellent velocitys. Starting load around 39.5 work up to 44.5. It has burnrate between H4350& H4831.

Default Hybrid 100

I was also going to suggest Hybrid 100 for the mid to heavyweight bullets in the .243. I am getting excellent velocity with this powder. My late shooting buddy used a caseful of IMR4831 WITH 75 grainers though. Many use the 4350 of various brands with good success.
