Default Chip lake?

I have another reason to be in the area, and thought I might try ice fishing there. I've never fished that lake at all, understand it's pretty shallow, any reports, thoughts?

We were there few times, in the park and camping side. Pretty shallow water, would be a long walk to the deeper part. Got few smaller pikes before Christmas. But the colder weather could drive them to the deeper water I think.

Fished it a few years ago was good for small pike lots of them just no big ones. It is a shallow lake about 5-7 feet where we fished. Went with a friend that knows the lake there was a road plowed on the lake not sure if they have that this year.

Only fished it once myself. It is pretty stained which is no surprise given how shallow it is. Not my cup of tea but you can always give it a try once and see what you think.
