Default Interesting perspective...

Once again in Poland and just found out that hunting with a bow, crossbow or .22 is illegal. To own a .22 you need to shoot competitively, a bow can only have a draw length of 25kg i believe, and can only be used for target archery and crossbows illegal completely, unless I was lied to. Reason for this? They are too quiet and easy to poach with.

I think that is one of the dumbest reasons to ban a firearm, but seems like only something liberals can come up with. But do not fret, all the neighboring countries allow it. They allow airguns to 630 fps without a license but are worried about bows and .22's...

I recall a conversation with one of our provincial government's top Wildlife Act enforcement policy advisors.


He wasn't aware that air propelled firearms are legal for big game.

His first comment was that they should be illegal, a poacher might use it.

That’s some scary logic from someone that can influence policy
