Sad news, hadn't talked to him for many years , but when I was down in Red deer , I used to stop in frequently.
I remember he had the first Whitcliffe falling block on the wall I had ever seen besides a picture.
If it had been in 257 Roberts instead of 25/06 I would have bought it!!
Emile was a great gunsmith and always pleasant to talk to.....

I'm sad to hear that. Some of my earliest memories are going out to Emile's shop, and shooting at the range behind, with my dad.

Thanks for the note:
I used to go into his shop any time I was in RedDeer. I was at the closing out sale and bought some things. I have a coupe targets with the store name on them that I will keep as a remembrance.

Sad news indeed. I went to school with his grandkids, and shot at his range many times. Had more than a few BS sessions with him in his shop as well. He will be missed.

Sad to hear that bought a few firearms off Emil.
Know his son Cyril very well also.
He had a nice collection of old Cars hope that someone that loves old autos as much as he did gets them.
Thanks for the post.

Ken.
