Default Parker Hale .270 Safari!

Came into this today!
Parker Hale Safari .270
An oldie, but a goodie!
Needs a bit of tuning, but, overall looks to be in very good shape!
Beyond "Safari", I'm not seeing a model # - any PH enthusiasts recognize whay model # this might be?

Probably a model 1000C, the "C" stands for clip or magazine as most people prefer to call them.
Subsequent models 1100 and 1200 had the safety modified to accommodate a scope. The new safety was mounted on the trigger similar to a Rem 700 instead of the bolt shroud.
These are good rifles and usually good shooters.
