Me and my hunting partner have moose draws for this area, we are heading there in November to stay for a week. Just wondering if anyone has any information on the moose hunting here? Any advice or information is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Lots of moose but mostly private land lived in the zone for 3 years before being transferred north. Permission isn't easy to come by that's for sure good luck

That'd be my biggest focus if I were you. And I wouldn't procrastinate.

Wow that's like a 10+ year wait for bull draw in that zone. I sure would want some access tied up before using up all that priority.

Yup tuff crowd out there. If you don't get your bulls early it's gonna be tuff. They don't move much after the rut which is right now, then they settle into areas that they don't get pushed around...which unfortunately is posted land. Get out and shake some hands maybe help the odd landowner.

Finding moose quite easy in the zone. I know it very well and have hunted it for years. Not sure why u would wait upwards of 10 years for either bull/cow tags with nothing lined up for a zone thats 98% private land and tough to get the go-ahead.

Good zone for moose. There is a reasonable amount of them running around. Don't be afraid to ask permission south of Hwy 11. I find getting permission in that zone is s lot easier asking in person. Good luck hope you find what your looking for.
