I really like Spyderco knives for pocket knives...

I like to have one handed opening and really am a fan of sheepsfoot blades for sharpness and toughness.I think if a guy is working in any kind of industry where you can get caught up in any kind of moving equipment that this type of knife is a good choice..

This is the one i have and they will saw and cut through anything....

Default 2 knives

Alway carry the 2 blade Swiss Army and clipped to the same pocket is the CRKT M16Z (~$58 at BPS) According to some FOX news and kniferights.org people; US Customs is trying to put the ban on 'assisted opening' knives like the M16. Basically they want to classify any knife that has a feature (ie stud) that allows a knife to be opened with one hand a switchblade. This is NOT limited to the CRKT with the spring assist.

I carry one of my Microtech SOCOM or a Boker Jim Wagner tanto. The Boker 'reality based' series are friendly on the wallet, well made and have a nice, mean look to them.
