High"er" end optics, binos vs spotter

Currently I have an older razor 65mm spotting scope, and just sold my lower end binos.

Do I upgrade the spotter say to a swaro or leica and settle for lower end of the mid range binos like a pair of vipers.

Or 2

Keep the spotter and try and get a higher end bino like swaros, leica geovids, zeiss...

Cant do both...

Mainly chasing elk. But still head out for sheep.... aka mountain climbing with a gun.

The binos will get used way more than a spotter I would think.

I would think you should base it on the type of hunting u do and where u hunt. IMHO. Sheep hunting is a lot different than just wanting to fill a whitetail doe tag.

I do plenty of hunting and I would say I’m 90% on my Binos if something perks my interest I’ll switch but a good pair of 10x50s are worth their wait in Gold.

I watched your youtube video and noticed the swaro spotter in there.

I tend to use binos 90% of the time too right now, but was more curious if selling the vortex razor as well and trying a swarovski spotter would be the way to go, or go swarovski/leica binos instead.

I don’t sheep hunt but I run a pair of Leica 10x42 hdr and a vortex razor HD 15-45x65mm. I use my binos 90% of the time. Spotter only comes out once I’ve spotted something that peaked my interest. I used to have Vortex vipers and made the jump to the lei as and I wish I had done it long ago.

My bino's get used all the time, my spotter gets used lots sheep hunting and elk hunting down south, other than that the spotter sits at home.
I have a 20-60X80 spotter and can sit behind it all day(well worth the money)
I a set a 10x44 HD Vortex Talons, and I like them alot, and use them alot, but use them 50/50 with the spotter when sheep hunting, Elk hunting I use binos first then brake out the spotter when I see something.
Never used a spotter deer hunting, but I don't live out east(that's where it could be very useful)
Spend your cash on a good set of bino's

I run a Pair of Leica HD-B 10X50 Range Finding Binos for my main glass and if I'm stopping for a bite to eat or a snack i'll pull out my Spotting Scope unless I do spot something I want have a closer look at.

I’ll excuse your ignorance, you give me a pair of binos and I’ll out spot you for sheep any day of the week. My hunting buddy and I use a canon sx45 camera once we find the sheep as it’s a way easier to judge rams from pics

Another consideration is how far you can see clearly without optics. If binos aren’t enough then a spotting scope might be required.

I'd be spending the money on the binos personally. Went with SLCs personally and have no regrets.
