Default Indoor Target shooting questions

Is the handicap system used in the NFAA scoring applied to scoring of
indoor target shoots ?

If your shooting a 4 or 5 arrow end and the time limit expires before you get
your last shot of the end nocked, do you not get to shoot the
the last arrow or is there a penalty or point deduction ?

I've never shot in a tournament or indoors, just looking into it.

Although I am not well versed in indoor tournaments outside of 3d, from what I know of fita shoots, there is no handicap system in play. Also, I believe that if you don't get your arrows off in the allotted time, wether it is 3d or fita, you do not get to shoot that arrow, and you do not get any points. You essentially take a zero for that arrow.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks Norm, been reading a lot about the rules and bylaws.
Confusing the way it's worded in the documents on line.

For someone coming into this first time going to a range and having
all this stuff (Tournaments, Classes, Styles, Indoor/Outdoor/3 D, Divisions,
Leagues) to consider is a lot to absorb.

Just as I am doing now. :-)

Trying to figure it all out.

Found answers to my questions but am still learning.
Whole new world.

So it begins.

I hear ya, I'm currently switching classes in 3d so I'm learning a lot there. I also started shooting 18 m fita this year too, and every time I go the judges feed me another rule or 2 to digest lol. I guess they don't want to overload me!

Yeah I am in the same boat! Trying to understand and figure out all the rules. It often seems overwhelming but I have found that the archery community is full of people willing to help you out! I am often guilty of asking too many questions!.
