I don’t remember who makes them but it’s a very nice reel. I used/abused one for 5 years with no problems .

I’ve heard rumors it’s Diawa.

I have a Diawa Certate, it’s as good or better than either of my Shimano Stella’s. I was looking at buying the Johnny Morris spin cast signature series reel for my Son, looks like a nice reel.

I’ve heard that a lot of JM stuff is Daiwa as well.

I know Diawa has been making Cabela’s reels for a couple of years now and been doing a good job. If you look closely you might see a little D somewhere on the reel indicating it’s made by Diawa . If seen this on the Cabela’s baitcasters.

What’s a better reel. JM or a Revo S?

I did some more research and this reel looks to be a Lews. Lews isn’t very popular up in Canada as of yet but they are fairly common in the US.
