I use "Windy" for fishing on the coast and it has been pretty accurate.

Cheers

Try an app called YR Weather, a blue icon with YR in it, a simple weather app with no advertising. It shows wind speed and direction along with the general forecast

I use UAV forecast it has proven to be very accurate. I use it to fly powered parachute which is very affected by wind of any kind.

I would love to have a way to get the forecast when out of service. I’ve done some reading on the Garmin inReach device but I haven’t been able to find a ton of detail on what is entailed in the forecasts.

I use the yahoo weather app. Seems to be pretty accurate. I like it because it has a nice layout with sun rise and set, moon phase and wind. I used to use accuweather.

Seeing that the OP is a waterfowl hunter, I am thinking that he is trying to avout setting up a spread, only to have the wind change 45 to 90 degrees by the time the birds arrive. We have had that happen a couple of times, last Saturday being the most recent.
