Years ago, there was one camped annually with Glass' wagon horses right on the south side of High River. Wouldn't see her until fall, wagons done for summer she'd show up.

Seen a group of 20+ just east of Three Hills few years ago

Three Hills is getting pretty close to their usual range. Now that you mention it, I did see one near High river a long time ago, about the same time my wife had a black bear cross the highway in front of her, near Stavely. Lucky for her credibility, others saw it as well.
