Ingenuity Resourcefulness
A native trapper drove his older truck to end of road and walked to his trapline cabin. After a few weeks when he walked back to the truck, he found the battery was dead. The older truck had a V belt rather than the flat fan belts on more modern vehicles. He took the fan belt off , took his chain and bar off hs chain saw, put the fan belt on to the saw clutch from the alternator only. running the saw charged the battery enough to eventfully start the truck.
