Depending on the brands you like we have so many great options in Edmonton and area, I like Jimbows a lot close to my work....easy to stop in and shoot for a bit and the techs are very knowledgable.

Not right in Edmonton, but Accurate Archery in Alberta Beach is excellent. I just left there again this morning. I've bought three bows in last year from there & Lawrence is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very experienced & awesome with kids as well. Hands down the best pro shop I've dealt with & I've been to many over the years. Also, his prices are very reasonable.

Inaccurate Archery
Ya right. Just make sure you take your Bowtech to another shop after he is done to have it tuned properly. Ask me how I know.

Worth going to as many as you can to get a feel for what service and product you like. I'd also add to the list lost arrow out by wainwright is well worth the drive. If you are interested in trad, wyld would be worth going to. Otherwise the aforementioned accurate archery and Jimbows are also good options.

Jim Bows is great Carson and Dave always make you feel like a valued customer the second you walk in. Both are great techs, they sell great bows and accessories and have wicked shooting lanes!!
One stop shop!!

Ok, lol I'll bite. Tell us your story. For the record I think Lawrence is a great guy and he knows his stuff, as do the staff at Jimbows. All else pale in comparison to these 2 shops.

The whole point of the thread is to name the other shop worth going to. It would be helpful if you did

X2 pm me the story if you don't wanna put it out In public. I probably won't believe you though. Or I'll think he might have had an off day which we all are entitled to once in a blue moon

Jim bows is the best in my opinion. I have been to most around edmonton. I was so impressed with the care and detail with a bow tuning and the knowledge base. Carson is a perfectionist and knows his stuff. With my bow tuning I was equally surprised on the lost cost of putting my bow back within spec , timing, centre shot, cam lean and paper tuning.

Swamp Donkey has always done excellent work on my bows. I buy my bows from him. Any tuning work, part installs, troubleshooting have been free of charge.
