I like the Talley rings if there is no issue with ring spacing that requires the use of a rail.

What rifle and scope combination are you using?

What elk said. So long as there are no issues with ring spacing or bolt clearance, talleys work well. Have them on my 243, no problems at all

rings: ATRS if you can afford it, warne if not. So many problems are caused by mass produced garbage mounts, don’t just buy whatever is at cabelas.

Bases: Burris XTR or weaver. Rails can get in the way at the worst possible time on a hunting rifle. If it’s a bench gun, do whatever you like better, rails give you more position options.

Knowing that (heavy scope, light powerful rifle) I’d say ATRS rings and Burris bases. Did lots of research, and thats whats on my 7rm, 100% confident it won’t move.

Unless you are using a brake. Then talleys are probably ok.
