Default Perch eggs

Is it normal for Perch and Walleye to be full of eggs this time of year. The 11 and 12 inch perch we caught yesterday were full of eggs. Maybe I just haven't payed that close of attention. The 12 and 13" I caught last year in March were full of eggs which I thought was normal. I am just curious.

Yes they are

They start forming eggs after spawning and the eggs mature and grow until spawning again.

Perch spawn in the spring once water hits 9 degrees C
