All approvals in
So I’ve been in contact with the Calgary fish and wildlife office... for strictly euro skulls, no tacidermy permit is required, however, since I’ve gotten a call from a guy who has a found dead wildlife permit for a mule deer he found hit on the road, needing the velvet preserved, i DO need a permit to preserve any hide/skin. Including the velvet.
So I’ve gone through the process, had an inspection of the facilities and gotten approvals for a taxidermy license. I will ONLY be doing skulls, but can make referrals for some great Taxidermist’s in southern Alberta.
Anyone needing skulls beetled, let me know!
