Default Logging info

Where can one find info on where and when they will be logging certain areas.

We have many fabricated tree stands on crown land and would like to save the wood if they will end up getting axed.

Contact the area trapper. They get maps well in advance of any harvesting.

Scroll down to the map, have a look and see who has the FMA where your stands are, then contact the mill

As already mentioned FMA holders must provide RFMA trapper their 5 year logging plan. However the logging companies do not always follow the plan, last year they kept changing their logging plan at the last minute, dropped lot trees on trapping boxes and destroyed trapping trails.
