Default Spring Bear Hunt 2020

I thought I would share some pictures of my successful spring bear hunt in Southern Alberta.

I harvested a great looking colour phase black bear on the long weekend. He was a big, old boar.

I would like to thank Dale and Colton for their assistance on this hunt.

Thanks for the replies. It's my personal best bear taken and is at the taxidermist as we speak. We have had two feeds of bear bites so far and have a stew brewing in the crock pot for supper tonight. It rough measured out at 6ft 2 and am hoping the skull will be around 19 plus. All in all, a true trophy to me.
