My boys and I go there every august long weekend and leave the wife at home to volunteer at heritage festival. We see more pike in the water than we catch. They seem to be really picky eaters for us, but the lake is beautiful and clear, great for the canoe or kayak when it’s calm.

Clear water and picky fish usually can be activated a little by downsizing your lure or fly and slowing it down a little.

Seems to work most of the time when fish are in those moods and you have ultra clear water.

Also loose the steel leader and make sure you are running a few feet of fluorocarbon leader material.
