Default Laser cutting?

Good morning all,
I’m looking into the cost , issues involved in getting some custom cutouts done on a solid, round AR-15 hand guard. Has anyone had something like this done? I’m assuming Laser cutting is the best option for a custom design. Maybe there are better ways. Would like to send it somewhere others have had good luck.
Thanks for your time,
Ken

Waterjet can cut heavier material than most laser machines.

I had my trigger guard cut for my 788 out of 6061 by a company called clear cut metals in Calgary recently. They also did bead locks for my wheels. They're work is good as is they're pricing. Used a few others around here for other work, laser heated and warped some stainless lever loops but cut well too.

What are you making, I may be able to draft something up for you if you don't have CAD
