Default Need some help with a dog paw

My little Springer has developed a paw problem. Does anyone recognize this? I Googled it but cannot find anything that looks like this. It started after we put in a vinyl plank floor. We are treating her with bag balm.

I can’t help, never saw that before, But I’ll post and bump it to the top, maybe get a few more views. Maybe some additional details might help, sort of hard to tell... is the actual pad worn off? Or is it more of a blister?

Took her to the vet a few weeks ago, was told she had arthritis. Don't want to go back to the same one.

My spaniel is always licking her paws and chewing but have not seen that kind of rash. Vet will fix it up and hope it works out Let us know.

Did you change it’s diet? We changed the dogs diet and he started to chew his paws, it can change the ph in their body. We changed back to his original food and within two weeks he stopped chewing his paws.

She is not chewing, and no we didn't change the diet.

Exclamation Keep the paws dry

Looks like a fungal infection. A real vet will recognize it and prescribe the proper meds.
The neighbour has been treating a yeast infection in a paw for almost a week. No more swimming in the river until it clears up completely. The dog is not limping as much as she was, but the arthritis in her shoulder still causes a lumbering gait.
The timing of the vinyl planking was pure coincidence. If it had been caused by the new flooring, it would affect all 4 paws.
