Thought this was worth the watch. 18 min long very inspiring and pretty epic if you ask me, despite having the company of a camera crew. I love the narrative of the story.

Something doesn’t add up, the only ways a non-resident can hunt in the Yukon is with a licensed guide or with a resident after being drawn for a special guide permit.

At the end of the video it shows the camera guy and raft guide who were supporting the two hunters (i.e., rafting the generator and all the gear).

The accompanying article says both guys moved to the Yukon a few years prior.

Great Drone footage, but i really think if he stayed on the LEFT side of the channel, he would not have had to go RIGHT of the big rock.

They had a Drone to do the areal scouting of the rapids, after all!

A well done video. The thing I noticed is that they didn't have a canoe cover. If I was running such rivers in a canoe I would have a skin for the canoe. A good cover/skin keeps the canoe from taking on water.

I seen this before, great video but I thought it was a bit over produced for two guys going out to salute their friend and also thought the dumping of the canoe was for the movie side of things.

Still, I really liked the footage, scenery shots etc. I'm surprised it has so little views.
