Default Lynx triple

Got my first lynx triple today.
2 at the pen and the third in the snare I set behind the pen for when they loop to check it out. Happy day. 2 marten as well. Just about ready to hang it up for this year .

Default Lynx triple

Congratulations. Really slow this end. No new snow and mild temperatures. Been a poor year for me.

Nice. What lure did you use? I had a CD on fishing line for an attractor, lynx gland lure on a dry birch stick inside the cubby.

That’s awesome. I’ve just had snare pen refusals this year yet my son has caught a couple lynx just in coyote snares on coyote trails.

Picked up one lynx last year on a coyote snare. Random but rewarding.

Is it legal for you guys to sell a lynx to someone(like me)to get mounted? What would the cost be? I would really like a wolverine though.

Have to go through a taxidermist with all the proper license. But basically I sell the lynx to him , you buy the mounted product from him.
The only way I could sell a lynx to someone who isn’t licensed is to tan or preserve it first. I have sold frozen fisher to a licensed buyer for just such an occasion, he sent it to a taxidermist to skim , tan and mount.

I've had 2 triples but the 1 last year a kitten ate most of the mom. One kitten full stomach, one kitten empty stomach and mom half eaten. They are magnificent animals though. Lots of sign this year, 2 so far, quota of 6.
