Hey, I just purchased a svt40 and I live in fort Mcmurray where there's no chance of finding ammo for it. If anyone in Alberta knows where to find it i'd appreciate knowing where. Thanks!

SFRC is having a sale right now on 7.62 x 54 Wood cases 880 rounds European made for $209.00 plus about 36 bucks to ship UPS. Takes a week to get it, and is better than the Chinese surplus.

The Chinese ammo I have was better than the Bulgarian ,Czech or Russia.Was able to shoot 1/2" 3 shot groups from a 91/30 sniper and 1-1/4" from an iron sighted hex Czarist 91/30. Many people are buying the 7.62x54R pulling the bullets and using the powder less 2 grains to Mexican Match .303 British loads cheaply.Same came be done with 7.62x39 swapping full powder charge and bullet for light plinking load in the .303 Brit..........Harold
