Default Favorite eatin' critter

What's everybody's favorite big game eatin'? Be interesting to run a poll. I'll even volunteer my opinion first - moose. Hands down winner followed by buffalo

Sheep and mountain goat; sheep wins as goat was a small sample size.

Elk. I also really like antelope. I've yet to try sheep or caribou but hopefully will get the chance some day.

Moose is by far my favorite, with Elk a distant 2nd followed closely by Whitetail & Muley Deer, then Spring harvested Black Bear.

Ya, I'd have to say I prefer the Stones and Dalls to bighorns as well....not sure why but they do seem to taste better....nothing wrong with a bighorn though!

Depends on how the game is prepared. Although I enjoy a moose roast or steak, I really enjoy antelope done in a mustard and mushroom sauce as well as a peppercorn and cherry sauce. Moose heart in wine sauce is a great meal as well. In the end, for me, it's more about the dish than the specific game animal.
