try buying in january. not a lot of sales then people dont seem to have the extra cash and arent really in a car buying mood after the holidays. the end of any month really is a good time as mentioned previously too. my 2 cents cub

Thanks for the imput guys. I brought my Tundra home last night and she looks real good in front of the house! I went with the proven 4.7 and 5 speed tranny in a double cab with a full size bed. I really like it and tho I think I might have been able to get more had I paid closer attention - still think the deal was good.

Congrats on the purchase. Nothing like that new truck smell. Wish it lasted longer.

Curious why you didn't go with the 5.7 and six speed.The fuel mileage is the same,and if you keep the truck long enough to have to change a timing belt,the cost will balance out.
