Default Soybeans for Ducks/Geese

I know this may sound like a stupid question but here it goes. I got permission from a guy the other day to hunt ducks and geese on his place, he has a quarter section irrigation soybeans surrounded by about 3 sections of corn. The soybeans are only about 100 yards off the water and would be perfect, but my question is do ducks and geese enjoy soybeans like they enjoy peas? There isn't many fields with soybeans around where I hunt so it would be my first time shooting over it. Any info would be appreciated.

Take the time to watch the field one morning and/or evening before you plan to shoot it. You'll find out right away.

Soybeans and corn? Man, I'd also ask if I could hunt deer there.

I always scout the day before and see where things are landing and then set up on the X. I was just curious if geese and ducks like soybeans or not. I would think they would like them since they also enjoy peas, but I'm not quite sure. Guess I will find out in October.
