Default Lots of Ducks around

Just got back from visiting a couple of places I usually go duck hunting. Appears to be a good population of ducks around. Should make for a fun opening day on Sunday. 7 more sleeps.

The geese have been flying over me in Northern Alberta for a week already. Can't wait for opening day.

Just saw, no kidding, 5000+ ducks coming off a wetland in the south. Crazy.

Between the elk shedding velvet in mid-August and the waterfowl movement, I am expecting an early winter.

I think it will be for sure. The elk are bugling all over Alberta and I have been seeing geese for 2 weeks.
