Default Alone in the Wilderness....

Is on PBS west at 9:30..........great story.
Its the story of Dick Proenneke building a cabin in the wilderness using only basic hand tools.

If its the same show I saw...quite cool. Builds a cabin...an older fellow that decides to fullfill a dream....all alone except for a visit from a floatm plane with some few supplies.

Quite possibly the best documentary ever done. Period. If most of the human race had 10% of what he had, the world would be a better place.

I think it's like $150 to buy the DVD, and some day I will just to show my young son!

Yeah, if everybody had their own section of land and mostly lived off of it, got rid of their phones and especially this medium of communication, we'd be happier for it. Not everyone would agree...probably not my wife...but she thought this guy was amazing too...

Time well spent in front of the TV.
