Rut
Which week would be best to sit and hunker down. 13-19 or 20-26?

Of the choices you provided the earlier dates.

I'd go with the latter, it's technically post rut(majority of does bred) you'll be far more likely to see bucks searching big time.

Unless you are limited to those dates, any time after Nov 1 would be a good time. The pre- peak period can provide some great experiences.

Both? depends on the property. If you are seeing high doe concentrations now then go early. Lower concentrations of does and smaller doe/buck ratio I would say later.

I've been going to a spot for the last 3-4 weeks haven't seen a buck yet but see 8-10 plus does a day. Lots of tracks and activity in the area also, you figure the bucks will be out early in the month?

I find it really depends on the property but this is how I typically choose where to be. Its very likely the bucks will show in the next week or so but if not then you might see more action later in the month as the bucks start travelling to find hot unbred does

Bush, funnel or field Ect. for hunkering down? Tough question IMO with out knowing the specifics of where you plan to hunt.
Rough answer,
13-19 I'd be hunting a known buck close to the does as the mature buck will already have a mature doe picked out to bread.
20-26 I'd hunt travel corridors, funnels Ect. As bucks will be traveling to different bedding areas looking for does.

I find the rut to be the most active the third week of the month.

If you dont know where any bucks are but you are seeing does, I would just "stake out" those does and the Bucks will come. Killer tactic in some areas ..

Don't forget your rattling antlers and grunt tube, find an area with doe's and rubs/scrapes, plunk down a lawn chair off in the brush and your good to go!
