Default Dalemead/ Langdon reservoir

Is dalemead lake still a ducks unlimited site, is hunting still allowed there after the expansion? Used to hunt there years ago and haven't been around since then any advice is appreciated.

No, and no. It is controlled by the Western Irrigation District, and off-limits for all recreational use.

WID owns it and you can hunt and fish. Walk in only. Not much for waterfowl there since its been flooded. Better ponds closer by. I have contacted WID to ask and they explained everything.

Tried to go in and set up, being as the signs on the east end are DU signs, and other signs say the water management "use responsibly, report poachers, etc." however, unless you have a boat, good luck getting more than 5 feet within the water. the mud is hip deep... wasn't even worth taking a crack at waterfowl there due to not being able to set up. Such a disappointing walk.

Good to know. They told me the exact opposite when they first expanded
