Grey cup champs would be hard pressed to beat the USA high school champs. I’m serious.

I agree. I always wanted to see the winner of the Cotton Bowl or Orange Bowl play the Grey Cup winner. Since I was a kid I always stood by my statement of the Americans being better football players. Someday hopefully an exhibition game takes place sometime in my lifetime...

You guys don't watch much football I see.. Any team in the CFL would kill any College ball team in the USA... Give it a break, what a silly comparison.

Of course Americans put out better Football players. They live for this. (You can see Hockey for a comparison) Also they have 300.000,000 people to our 30,000,000.

Likes slippery on that field.

So players in the CFL would lose an exhibition match against an NFL because NFL athletes are bigger, stronger, and faster. Yet, CFL players would also lose to a high school football team. Are you suggesting high schoolers in the states are bigger, stronger, and faster than CFL players?

With all this being said it sure it entertaining, not knowing if a team will actually catch a ball or not. I don’t know why they dress so many unneeded players when they only need two kickers to punt the ball back n forth.

Bigger? Not far off but they are 100x better and faster.

No not so much the high schools. The colleges though, yup. Just better football athletes down there. The CFL is hard to watch.

That is one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve read. Especially if you are truly serious. How does that even make sense. Grown men playing boys with different rules. Shorter time count, wider field, extra man on the field. The waggle. 3 downs. They are truly different games. How did Ricky Williams do when he came to the CFL. He was a Heisman Trophy winner. People think that since there is a football they are the same game. It’s a different game all together.

The failed US expansion of the CFL in 1994 spoke volumes. Empty stadiums due to the product on the field. Just like Bo Jackson, American fans know football. Canadians think they know good football athletes. We don’t have them up here though..

Ok.. This is where you get blown up and put in the Kitchen with the Women..

The top 3 All time CFL QBS pass percentage beat the number 1 all time in the NFL. Every stat I look at for that shows the same thing.

Do you want proof or can you just go stir the Chilli for the men?

Can we compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges please. 2 completely different set of rules and fields. Each league has specific players for specific fields...BTW how did Moon do vs let's say Manzel ?? Plenty-O-arm chair Q-Backs in this group..

Look at that. 7 throws in a row not completed. Best players on the planet!

You understand that the players that play the CFL game are the same “amazing” US athletes. Most of the players that play the Canadian game are from the US.

The turf is a skating rink. Watch for some pulled groins ECT.....

Who did this Field? Is this the first Winter Edmonton has experienced?

Not happy from a foot ball POV Not happy from a Grey Cup POV. Someone in Edmonton deserves to be shot. I had heard from Tom Luzzi this AM that the field was shyt.

Like Johnny Manziel (who lit up this crappy little league..haha)? Doug Fluitie? Warden Moon? Cameron Wake? Or the CFL players that go down every year after getting NFL invites.

I don’t think anybody is arguing what league has better athletes. If the CFL paid NFL salaries, all those athletes would be up here. I spent the weekend enjoying my time with fellow lovers of the CFL at various Grey Cup parties and I can tell you the CFL has amazing fans. Fans from every team getting together to celebrate the game. That never happens in the NFL.

But your ignorance is showing and you’re clearly trolling now.

JM might very well do great here. I watched him play a number of games this year. If he gets a team, watch out. His scramble ability is amazing. I say Calgary goes and gets him once we loose BLM to the NFL.

Turn your phone off and watch the game.

You lost cred when you compared throwing in the CFL to throwing in the NFL.

Yet ANOTHER throwing TD..

I’ve never said once that CFL players are better than NFL players. I agree that the best athletes are being paid to play in the NFL. I just hate when people don’t understand the difference between the 2 games.
