Default EIBAR 8 mm (Lebel?)l Revolver ammo

Hi, here is a question that does not come up every day....

My father in law bought a used ww1 or ww2 revolver in spain, a looong time ago. We believe it is an Eibar 92 chambered in 8 mm (Lebel?)

Does any of the experienced gun experts on this forum know anything about this weapon ?

Also, I'd like to get some ammo for it (have restricted PAL), but I only need a few rounds (maybe 10) or so, to test if it fits and works, I have no use for the 50 round boxes they sell online. Maybe a reloader on this forum has a few rounds that they are willing to sell?

Also, we have been told it is 8mm. Not sure what "lebel" actually means, or if that is different from 8mm?

Thanks for your help
Chris

Congratulations, you have a cheap Spanish revolver. Eibar was the center of a Spanish firearms industry that specialized in producing copies of other nations guns . Interesting pieces on their own
