Default 25+ Land Owner Maps - Feel Free To Add More

I have been trying to find a PDF of the Land Owner Map for Woodlands County online and haven't really had any luck finding that particular one but in my travels I was able to find nearly 30 of them from around the province. Please feel free to download whatever you need or "right click" and upload more if you have them. We could probably build a pretty solid database if we all combined what we have.

Please keep in mind that some of them are a little outdated.

If you do decide to upload, please make sure that they are in fact County Land Owner Maps in PDF form please.

Anyways, here is the shareable link:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...1pMRC1OTjZVTmc

Enjoy!

Nice!

I really wish I could find the special areas map online. I only want to see who owns 1 parcel and at map town the map is like $70!

If you go to the local county office they can sell you one of the areas for 25$ or at least that's how it was for us before buying the book for the prairie elk hunt.

Cypress County maps are available free online. There is a convenient index/grid for reference and the individual map pages are scale to 11" by 17" for printing. You can also pick up a booklet or wall map at the county office just outside Medicine Hat.

I bought it last year, I can take a picture of the area your looking for and text or email it to you if you would like. Picked it up at the Jenner gas station, and ya for some reason that one is pricey

Jim..

Tried looking at a couple of the maps on the Google site but they would not zoom in far enough to determine who the landowners are. Anyone else having a problem?

I had that problem when using the windows 10 pdf viewer which was set as a default when I ended up with Windows 10, using adobe acrobat they opened fine and zoomed in no problem.

Hey livinthedream, try doing a "right mouse click" on the file you want and at the bottom of the list you have the option to "download" depending on your setup it may ask you where you want to save the file or for some it will automatically download to your Downloads Folder on your computer.

A few of you have tried to press copy instead of download and all that does is make a copy of the file in the actual folder so I have to keep going in there and deleting the copies.

Not to be nitpicky but If you are going to upload a map or share a link, please make sure that it has the land owner information on the map.

I'd love to help but I'm and Android guy... You should be able to press and hold the file you want to see and somehow save it to your phone. The other option is to see if there is a way of emailing it to yourself and then download it from there.

It would be cool if someone had the time and the ability to take all of those 22 individual Cypress maps and rebuilt them into one PDF.

The intended purpose of creating this database was to have all of these PDF's available somewhere other than the websites they are on. If at any point Cypress county decides to pull that reference map and associated PDF's from their website we are hooped.

If anyone has the technology (and smarts) to combine those PDF's please say so otherwise I will look at making a special Cypress folder and add each of the 22 files + a jpeg of the complete puzzle.

Thanks for your help everyone. I started off with just over 25 maps and not including these 22 we are approaching 40 right now. Pretty cool.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to present all those maps Gold. I love having a good map, esp. the county landowners.
My problem is that I don't know how to download them and when I enlarge them I can't see them clearly.
My brother from BC says that you cannot get landowner maps in BC. Too many privacy concerns.

No problem waterninja!

Here is a step by step on how to download:

1. Click on the link in the very first post of this thread.
2. Find the map that you want.
3. "Right Mouse Click" on the map that you want.
4. A menu will appear and select "Download", not "Copy" as copy just creates a copy of the same document in the folder.
5. Depending on how your computer is set up, it will either ask you if you want to open/save the PDF OR it will automatically save the file to the "Downloads" folder on your computer.

From there you should be golden!

Too bad the strathcona map doesn't have landowner names, I don't think they even make one with names on it anymore.
