Default fish on snow

Does it harm the fish if they're dropped on the snow before they're released.

Its not really good for them.....can damage the protective coating they have or cut them....depends on the species, dropping them is never a good thing.

Greatest danger to the fish from being dropped in the snow, is the snow getting into their gills and freezing them. It can also remove the slime coating, and there's always the possibility of injury from being dropped. Its never a good thing to drop one, but they can be slippery buggers and sh!t does happen.
