Has anyone heard of this caliber? Found one in a box of old 250 sav. ammo. Head is stamped "22 SAV". Looks like a necked-down 30-30 Win. Couldn't find it in any of my reloading manuals. I tried to attach a pic but can't figure out how.
Most likely is an old 22 savage Hi Power.
A friend of mine has the rifle for that ammo. Kinda neat pcs of History. Google search 22 Savage Hi Power, lots of info available. It is definitely a collector item.
