Default Brass drying?!?

so how does everyone dry their brass after annealing/sonic cleaning? Im letting them air dry right now but getting them dry inside is taking around 2 days! What are your methods?

When I was using an ultrasonic, I'd just lay them on a cookie sheet and throw them in the oven at 150F for a while. Doesn't take long that way!

Air drying for me...

There was a guy over on snipershide who built a box with a screen shelf inside to hold the brass off the bottom and cut some small holes in the lid and put a PC fan on the side... Thinking about building a box like that for myself... Would take up less floor space that's for sure.

This is the fastest way. Oven only has to reach temp and can be turned off as soon as temp is reached. Minimum temp setting on my oven is 170F.

If I'm in a hurry and want to reload ASAP I'll use the wife's hair dryer with all the brass in a strainer. They get dry in about 5-10 mins.

I turn on the water heater in the ultrasonic, heats to almost boiling. Take brass out and turn on end on paper towel and wait 6 hours and they are dry. Oven if its ASAP.

Just hang it in a mesh bag and the water drips away.

Default brass drying

I use the oven method described by others. Watch heat as it will discolor brass (both nickel and brass cases). To be extra sure cases are dry inside, I blow them out with compressed air.

ive put them in my lyman tumbler with new corn media, dripping wet and tumbled for a few minutes and when they are dry the media doesnt stick anymore...blast of compressed air to make sure the crumbs are gone and go to next stage.
i would imagine those cheap plastic salad spinners would work for smaller batches 20-30 cases at a time.
spin...shake to realign the cases...spin agin.

just take out the lettuce first.
