R700 build is nearly complete
So as some of you may know, i've been building a new R700, and it has finally come together. Some gun porn below!
Gonna take a trip out to the crown tomorrow and throw some lead down range with it, hopefully after all that my aim is actually worth a damn
Still looking into a new trigger at the moment!

What kind of bag is that rifle in and where did you get it? How long of rifle will it hold?

Triad tactical stock bag. It has extensions to fit adjustable cheek welds.

I think you misunderstood. I was asking about the case the rifle is in. It looks like one I may want

Vism double rifle case. It sucks! The MOLLE in it is already coming off after one hike. I will be getting an eagle sniper pack or a pelican 1750 soon. Look into 5.11 Tactical bags, much better built, same style.

Seems you other love them or hate them. Back when I was a wee little boy I played my share of counter-strike and grew a love for the AI AWP, so when I found out I could get the same chasis for my R700 I was quite excited. The second it hit my hands I knew I loved it. It is very very firm and strong.

Check out Eberlestock products they offer a "sniper sled" soft case similar to what you have in the pic. I have one of their hunting backpacks and it is very well built. Your rig looks great!

Can you get an AI chassis for a different kind of action? The one I was playing with a few weeks back was an R700 and every one I see on the internet is R700.. but what if you wanted one with a Mauser action?

All R700 to my knowledge. Might be able to with the AICS AX chasis though.

Good find, pricey, but they look very nice! I see 911 has 20% off 5.11 tactical products right now too!

Stock, Timney trigger, glass, muzzle brake (added now) Thats all I can afford for now, I'd like a new Rock Creek barrel on there at some point, but the Remington one will suffice for a wile.
