Default Mares leg

I am wondering if anyone knows the legal ramifications of putting a full rear stock on a mares leg. Can you do it legally or not. I like the short barrel but a real rear stock might make them actually usable as a brush gun.

You can do whatever you want as long as as it dosen't get any shorter, I believe there are others on the forum who have done the conversion.

I believe in the US that would change it from a pistol, as is is classified down there to a short barreled rifle which would require a permit.
Up here though being classified a rifle you can increase the length as much as you like.
