Not sure how intentional it was.. Interested to see what the league says. Surprised there was no retaliation from the Stars. 100% more retaliation from the team Willy played on Sunday. Jesus, those kids wouldn't quit!

Better 3rd period. still 2-0

Yes, she did. What a lame performance.
On the bright side somehow Chicago managed to win a game and beat Nashville.

We have had an awesome run with our #1 line and D helping but until we get another solid line to contribute this is going to happen. Hate nights like this. We struggle with big teams ie Dallas/Ducks giving is no time or space. Tampa next urghhhhh. The good news Rittich had another good night

Flames lose to Dallas
Preds lose to Blackhawks
Oilers lose to Blues
Winnipeg loses to LA

Weird night all round

I was thinking the same thing looking at the scores last night. Sharks won though. But no meaningful movement in standings anywhere.

It's still early, but every point counts.

It's because we were missing Neal

It was too little to late for the Flames last night. In recent years they have had difficulty against Dallas. 3 game winning streak comes to an end, that's alright. I'm happy with their "win some lose one" mentality.

Coming home to take on Tampa on Thursday

How about every time you visit/post on the thread? Which is often.
One day you'll come out of the (oilers fan) closet

I have a Million issues in my life.. I can assure, that is not one of them.
I have hated and I mean HATED every team/player that has ever came out of that town. I think I cheered against the special Olympic guys who came down one year. LOLOLOLOL

I have no idea why it runs so deep. Perhaps it was growing up in a rural type environment that had a real hate filled rivalry. I was from Okotoks and you spit on the ground if someone ever mentioned High river. (Corner Gas got that right) Okotoks Oilers Vrs High River Flyers. Okotoks High school VRS Senator Riley High school, Baseball, football, Rodeo. It didn't matter. Blood would be spilled if they played. People used to talk of the BOA. That was literally nothing in comparison. I recall being upset that High River came before Okotoks in phone book. LOLOLOLOLOL

But, I am older now. I don't take it as personally. I even have a Golf membership in at Highwood Golf course. Though I won't spend a extra second in that ****ty town if I don't have to. ;-)

It's ok Jamie. We do. Same reason I, as a Riders fan, despise the Eskimos.

HAHA that's awesome, I hope it works as well for them as it does for the Flames. Flames are going to need a case worth tonight as they will be in tough.

Last day of work before the Christmas Holidays

Gonna enjoy some Crown and watch the game tonight, should be a good one. I haven't heard who gets the start, I like everyone else I'm sure is hoping for Rittich. Smith goes in were going to get destroyed, with Rittich I think we have a chance.

Neal is still out, Bennett should be back, Valimaki likely still out till the end of January at best (according to Treliving).

We all know the underlying hatred towards Tampa from Game 6 , so let's kick their ass and send them on their merry way to Edmonton.

Rumor has it Neal and Bennett back in the line up. Maybe Neal can give us all an early Christmas present with a couple of snipes....

I keep waiting for this to happen, every game but nope. I hope one day it just clicks and he gets going.

Nice to hear Rittich getting the start, Smith has been sitting and would be coming in cold so to speak.

Couple days rest, so i'm hoping for some fast hockey again, with some full tanks again, not like what was happening the other day. Should be a good game, I hope the dome is pumped.

Flames with a solid start, good jump! Up 2-1 and only 8 minutes in....and close call on another. Bennett and Monny with markers. Go Flames!

Got the purple juice going over on the bench...
