^ Sweet!

I put out cameras like 5 weeks ago and I'm excited to check out the memory cards, see what's been walking about.

“Like fish in a barrel” comes to mind. Not gonna lie it gets me excited for the fall. Is Prairie hunting as slam dunk as it looks?

Heres a good one from last season. These photos helped get me on some well travelled corridors in big timber and fill a tag after a lot of miles and exploration.

Just recently pulled cams I left out for the winter and saw this double drop. The time stamps were just a few days after I filled my tag and hung up my boots for winter. I am going to reallocate all my cams to this area this summer and try to see if I can catch it on camera again and see if it survived last Nov and the winter. Never really did the target buck thing before but was never this interested in a deer before either. I’ve heard they roam this time of year, so I don’t have high hopes to reconnect with it but it’s fun to dream!

Couple pics from picking up some cams this spring that were left out all winter. Love checking my cams!

Must say in this area in the porcupine hills, seeing a lot fewer black bears this year on the cams. Wonder what black bear hunters are seeing?

I'm guessing a 148" buck but it's the 'biggest' on my cams so far this year

Well, that’s just it. Where this is is quite a grunt to get to. The nearest accessible road is miles away that time of year.
