I developed 2 loads using Hornady brass, fed 215 primers and the gmx. In my buddy's tikka , one with IMR 4831 and one with RL-22. Both were sub moa, slightly better velocities with the IMR . And with RL powders being hard to find there for a while we stuck with the IMR load. I'm currently in the middle of building a house so all my crap is packed away in storage. Off the top of my head started somewhere around 66 grs and worked up to 72.5. ( this is from memory so don't quote me on that.) Avg velocity was right around 3240 fps, if I remember right but that's in my notes too. Oal was mag length in the Tikka.

I had loaded some GMX and this is what the result was. I was sighted in at about 2" high at 100 and wanted to try and just see where they hit at 300. I was low which I expected and found them in the hill behind target. They had cut a channel about 4-6" in the hill. I am a little worried about that but granted the hill was extremely hard. They opened up properly and weigh in at about 160 and 161 grains.
These look like typical results for a GMX?
Please tell me its gonna be OK

Cant get pics to upload, they keep failing.

Your performance into dirt is going to be alot different than hitting an animal. I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Go kill something and let us know how it worked.

That was my thought exactly. But it was just kind of alarming finding that for my first real experience with the copper bullets.

Gilding metal, not copper.
