My PAL finally came in and I promptly flew out the door and bought a savage 111 rifle/ scope combo in 7mm rem mag. I took it out to the bush and got it sighted it in and it shoots like a beauty! It sure can anhialate a pumpkin at 100 yards! No doubt it'll drop a deer in it's tracks. I think I made the right choice!
picked up the same gun in 300winmag .lined er up today. installed my bushnell banner first .herd some bad reports on the scope loosing zero after some use.look on cabelas site for the bad threads on the simmons blazer.at least keep a target handy, hate to let a monster buck escape due to a scope problem.
Finally got my gun!
